YOUR OWN CHILDCARE BUSINESS

Our Family Home Consultant will help you set up your new business as well as offer information and support on how to provide quality childcare. You will have access to professional development and many resources including books, videos, toys and equipment. There will be supportive home visits, monthly meetings, and assistance with programming.

Working inside the home will allow you more time to spend with your own children. Our agency gives you the opportunity to have community recognition for your childcare business. Where you are using your own home as a workspace you will be eligible for tax advantages.

There will be many networking opportunities available to you through participation in events planned through the Centre and community awareness programs. The Family Home Daycare Agency will work with you to help you maintain maximum enrollment.

Parents will take comfort in knowing that your home is approved and regularly monitored and that your childcare business meets government regulations and standards. As this program is offered through the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, you will be able to accept children whose fees are subsidized.
